Meet Our Staff

Executive Basketball Director:
Coach Darrell Dorn Sr. has had 15 years of coaching at the high school and collegiate level for women basketball teams. Coach Dorn has served as the Skills Development Coordinator for Roundball Academy which host national exposure camps and tournaments for girls. Coach Dorn currently works as a Behavior Assistant at Fulton Achievement Program for Harbor Behavioral Healthcare.

Coaching Staff:

Coach Jason Moss has had 15 years of coaching at the junior high and collegiate level. Currently, he is Head Boys Coach at Woodward High School. Coach Moss has also been a camp counselor at the Adidas Midwest All-American Camp and several Division I basketball camps. Coach Moss currently works as a paraprofessional for Toledo Public School.

Coach Debra Jones is the former head coach at Scott High School. She has over 18 years of experience coaching at the high school level. Coach Jones currently works at Medical Mutual as a Customer Representative.

Coach Melvin Thomas has coached various youth basketball teams and is the commissioner of the AACFA (a Christian youth basketball league).  He has a Bachelors Degree in Business Services, an Associates Degree in Social Services and Volunteers for the Toledo Minority Golf Association. He is currently employed by Toledo Public Schools and United Parcel Service. 

Coach/Team Chaplain– Miss Sharyce Banks has been involved with FCA for many years now. She currently holds a Bachelors Degree in Biology and a Masters Degree in Athletic Training. She was a four year athlete at St. Ursula High School and went on to further her education and collegiate career at Knoxville College..

Leadership Staff:

Leadership Director– Ms. Gwen Banks has 30 years experience as a health insurance underwriter. She has a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, a Master’s Degree in Organizational Leadership , and served as an FCA Team Chaplain for many years. She is an OHSAA Track & Field and Cross Country Official as well.

Leadership Coordinator -  Ms. Camille Davis graduated from the University of Toledo in 1993 with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology. She is presently employed with General Motors Powertrain Toledo as a trainer for Teambuilding, Personality Styles, Leadership Skills and Global Manufacturing Systems, as well as being the Co- Chair for the Affinity Group for Women. Camille also serves as the Youth Director at New Light Baptist Church.
